What is Basic Medical
The Basic Medical training is designed to provide the Cadets with the core knowledge, skills, and attitudes to function in a first responder capacity prior to the arrival of an ambulance.
Course objectives:
- Airway management
- control of bleeding
- splinting
- Medical, Environmental and other emergencies
Training Details
Staff Cadets must be PO2 or above.
- Read information letter
- Register in Magellan.
- Upload NSCTNG001 to Magellan
- PAY ONLINE
- Escort Officers complete the NSCTNG002 and NSCTNG 025 and upload them to Magellan.
- Cadets traveling from outside Utah need to complete the travel information sheet at the end of the information letter and xo@utahseacasdets.us
